The stay was quite disappointing. While the breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly, the room had a musty smell and the beds were uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the TV didn't work, and the overall state of the hotel didn’t meet expectations based on the price we paid. For one night, I was hoping for a better experience, especially since we were in town for a family event nearby.

We had a fun time visiting Lubbock, known as the Music Crossroads of West Texas. The hotel was close to attractions like the OMNI Theater and Science Spectrum, which thrilled my four teenagers. The breakfast options were also quite enjoyable, keeping everyone satisfied during our stay.

My kids wished for better WiFi for gaming. It would help if the hotel could improve its internet connection for families traveling with teenagers.

i had a great stay at the holiday inn express! the breakfast was really good with lots of choices. the location is convenient, near a major highway interchange, making it easy to get around. the service from chimere and valaryan was top-notch, which added to the positive experience. we also loved the indoor pool and fitness center.
